This week two good rap Peruvian news media have hovered, which certainly pleases us. On the one hand, Rapper School has been taken into account to participate in the concert to be held in the new edition of the Book Fair Lima.

The concert will be Friday July 23 at 9:30 pm in the auditorium César Vallejo, the National Heroes Park in Jesus Maria (alt-block 15 of Av Salaverry).

On the other hand, Urban Clan has managed to slip among the 18 finalists for the III Festival Claro. While not open a category for the Hip Hop, Urban Clan category was presented to the merger and there have managed to excel. The final category in the fight with two other musicians and hopefully there can be imposed so they can be chosen the winner of the Festival.

I'm unable to return to Lima to talk with them and I am worried because my view of Hip Hop in Cusco would be incomplete. But fortunately Tony replied my message in the face and Janco an hour later called me to coordinate the talks (then I confess that only after reading some of my previous articles it was decided to call it).
You have to climb a small slope to reach the Tocsama, Janco bar but the atmosphere is cozy and well worth it. We talked, it makes me aware of things and two hours later we're in a taxi to Yana Rec Ball, the home study being implemented to make their recordings and supporting some new Mc's.

The Hip Hop came to Germany in the 80s and was the graff breakdance and what is most practiced at that time. Ten years later was the rap that took center stage with the slogan of giving identity to the German rap, "independent" of the strong influence that rap that they had arrived from USA.
That first big move was followed by a stage where the MC's started to think about what their country means on social complexity.
Today the German rap has two strong sides, on one side are the exponents of rap "gangsta" doing a good job, and secondly are Turkish immigrants are putting a lot of noise, so much so that there is already talk of a Hip Hop Turkish - German.

From the first time I went to Cusco I swore back and enjoy it more calmly, but the work and especially the drowsiness had not let me return. So when I decided to go the Hip Hop map of Peru decided to start by the imperial city (next destination: Arequipa).
I was more than a month in an attempt to learn how Hip Hop has developed there, and what impact it had on their environment, but the truth did not find much material as I hoped, however I could bring some interesting things that I will publish week week throughout July.
These are not the final title but this is the schedule:

July 19: Chronicle of my outings with people and freestyle videos.
July 26: Hip Hop's current Panorama Cusco.
I hope to finish the year touring the major cities of Peru to Hip Hop we know how we really are.

I remember that morning because the event seemed unreal, I had the feeling of being still asleep. They woke me up to tell me and when I turned on the TV, the first plane had already made an impact. It was something totally unbelievable, something I did not know how to process in my brain until I saw the second plane appears, and then I woke up completely and I realized what was happening.
The mentality of Americans was beaten after 11 September. The topic is untouchable for them, they talk about the twin towers and you are exposed to lynch you in one. So not much talk about the event and most importantly, no serious discussion of what really could have happened that day. I did not know the theory but there are people of intelligence and talent are respected saying something very serious: it was the U.S. government itself which brought down the towers after the impact of the aircraft as part of a geopolitical strategy. The theme is thick, and there are intellectuals and artists struggling to study the case seriously.

We come and go, some leave and never return.
